We're pleased to introduce a new flavor to our collection of Nougats: Black Cherry Nougat
Our Black Cherry Almond Nougats are made with large tasty Black Cherries from Michigan and fresh roasted almonds. These cherries are plucked when plump and ripe, then dried. We selected these Black Cherries because they are sweeter than the red cherries and they pair perfectly with our soft Nougat candies. Soft, creamy, sweet, and ever so lightly tart; these candies taste very much like Cherry Ice Cream, with the added treat of our fresh roasted almonds.
The only other thing we wish we could add is hot fudge!

Cherry Almond Nougats- Egg whites, sugar, vanilla, and corn syrup are whipped to a fine fluffy consistency to create our soft french almond nougats. We then add our almonds and sweet dried black cherries to create this delectable treat.
Each piece of candy is wrapped in a delicate clear thin layer of edible rice paper so that it does not stick to the candy wrapper. Edible rice paper is often used in confections- especially in Japanese candies.
